DESCRIPTION:A hands-on creative enrichment experience designed for homeschool learners (ages 6-16). \nCreative Thinkers combines art\, exploration\, problem-solving\, and communication to give homeschool students an opportunity to learn beyond traditional academic settings. \nRather than simply following directions to make the same project\, students are encouraged to experiment\, make choices\, solve creative problems\, and develop their own ideas. \nDevelopmental Focus: \n\nCreative problem-solving\nObservation and visual thinking\nArt and design fundamentals\nCommunication and storytelling\nExperimentation with different materials\nConfidence in independent decision-making\n\nClass Experience: \nEach session begins with a creative challenge\, demonstration\, or exploration before students develop their own interpretation. Students are exposed to different artistic materials and approaches while learning to explain their ideas and creative choices. \nOutcomes: \nStudents strengthen creativity\, critical thinking\, independence\, and communication while building a portfolio of original artwork created from their own ideas.
