Expressive Art
Classes are designed to provide our young artist looking to explore their creativity in a fun, safe, and rewarding environment. We provide them with engaging activities, age appropriate tools, and non-toxic materials to master their skills. Classes are small in size to ensure and instructed by qualified art teachers. This is a great way to socialize young artist in a nonjudgemental atmosphere. Expressive art sessions welcome parents and guardians to join as spectators or participants at no additional charge.
Workshops include topics and themes around printmaking, color schemes, poster making, flyers & cards, digital art, merchandising, packaging and more.
Therapeutic Art
Expressive art is widely used in art therapy, a respected field in mental health. It helps individuals express emotions, cope with trauma, and improve mental health. Artists contribute to cultural preservations and innovations, fostering community connection and dialogue. Therapeutic art is fundamental in education, helping adults reignite creativity, enhance critical thinking, and strengthen emotional intelligence. The art and creative industries significantly contribute to the global economy supporting millions of jobs and businesses. While some might see expressive art as a hobby, many recognize its profound impact on society and individual lives.Â

I am Melissa Klos, the honored Founder of ArtsyKid Studio. It is with deep gratitude that I extend my sincere thanks for your interest and for granting me the privilege of sharing a glimpse into my journey.
Art and creativity have always been at the heart of my journey. I've always found myself in circles of strong creative artist who inspire and uplift one another. Over the past 25 years, I’ve worked in corporate environments helping business owners, executives, and directors streamline their business processes with automation technology. I’ve been fortunate to work for amazing organizations like Canon, Long Island University, Verizon, Cox Media Group, among others. Those experiences have fueled my passion for creating a dedicated space where structure meets creativity and innovation.
ArtsyKid Studio, is a the space where artists, creators, professionals, and enthusiasts come to have fun and get creative. Whether it’s friends or colleagues bonding over art, individuals tapping into their inner artist, or communities coming together to share inspiration. The studio was born from my passion of providing solutions that help others achieve their goals.
