Therapeutic art is a form of expressive art that uses the creative process of making art to improve emotional and physical well-being. It is beneficial for children and adults alike, helping with stress relief, self-expression, and personal growth.
The main goal of our Expressive Art classes is to help in developing communication skills and self-expression.
Our Therapeutic Art classes involve art-making to learn and experiment with stress-reducing techniques. These classes also include light body balance and strength exercises for a complete mind-body experience.Â
Mastery Club sessions require Intermediate to Advanced skills. Expressive Art Classes are grouped by age.
Early Explorers → 3–5 yrsÂ
Young Creators → 6–8 yrsÂ
Junior Artists → 9–11 yrs
Tween Creatives → 12–14 yrs
Teen Artists → 15–17 yrs
Adult Creators → 18+ yrs
Grown & Creating → 28-45 yrs
Mature Makers  → 45-65 yrs

No. Our art classes focus on the process rather than the final product. It is about self-expression, exploration, and healing, not about artistic talent.
Our curriculums are designed to gradually build confidence, creativity, and emotional expression. Beginners start with foundational techniques, while more advanced students explore deeper therapeutic themes, personalized projects, and self-reflective exercises.
Refunds are only offered for cancellations made at least 72 hours in advance. Otherwise, we provide class credit for a future session.
Our studio can accommodate up to 20 participants for private events.
Yes! You may bring decorations, but we ask that they be easy to set up and remove. If you are looking for a more elaborate set-up, we can recommend some of our most professional event planning partners for your event.
Yes. You can bring outside catering. We can recommend local restaurants and bakeries to help. If you are looking for a more elaborate set-up, we can recommend some of our most professional event planning partners for your event.
Yes! Our studio is wheelchair accessible, and we strive to create an inclusive environment for all individuals. If you have specific needs, please contact us in advance so we can accommodate you.
Yes. We are experienced in working with individuals with varying abilities. We offer adaptive art techniques and a supportive environment to ensure everyone can participate.
Yes, parents or caregivers are welcome to stay if their child needs additional support. We want every participant to feel comfortable and engaged. We do ask that when attending as a spectator, please hold all studio-related questions until the end. We need to focus on servicing all participating artists.Â
Yes. On-site parking is available for guests in ArtsyKid Studio and unmarked parking spaces.
We do permit Drop-offs for approved minors only. To arrange a drop-off schedule in person. Please arrive 15 minutes early to your child's first class to sign our Drop-off consent form. Thereafter, students will only be permitted to leave the building when we see the approved parent or guardian in the designated pick-up/drop-off area. Minors are not allowed to wait outside the studio for pick-up.Â
Reservations can be made online through our calendar booking system or by phone (631) 482-3300. Payment for classes is confirmed in writing via the email you provide the studio during the reservation process.
Yes, make-up classes are available with a 24-hour notice and based on class availability.
Any inappropriate behavior will result in immediate removal from the class, and further participation will be reviewed.
