Description
The studio is in search of a professional Assistant Studio Manager with a proven track record in sales. The ideal candidate should have experience leading projects of various sizes and collaborating with stakeholders at all levels of the business. Responsibilities will include managing and promoting children's events throughout the Suffolk County area using online tools and word-of-mouth marketing. A commitment to integrity and a strong desire to safeguard client information is essential, as we prioritize privacy and safety. It is preferred that our Asst. Studio Manager is bilingual, alongside excellent organizational skills. This role also demands strong problem-solving abilities and a passion for customer support. Reporting directly to the Manager, the position requires someone who is charismatic, articulate, tech-savvy, and enjoys creative thinking to address challenges.
The Assistant Studio Manager will be responsible for curating and managing the selection of art supplies and materials used in studio classes and workshops. This role includes researching trends, sourcing quality products, and ensuring that our offerings align with the studio’s mission of fostering creativity and expression.
Responsibilities
Evaluate and select art supplies and materials for the studio.
Collaborate with instructors to understand class needs and preferences.
Monitor inventory levels and manage ordering processes.
Conduct product demonstrations and training for staff and clients.
Provide excellent customer service by assisting clients in selecting appropriate products.
Stay informed about new products and industry trends.Support products by developing video demos and proposals.
Answer potential client's questions and assist with memberships.
Qualifications
Background in art education, fine arts, or a related field.
Experience in retail or product management preferred.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Passion for art and a commitment to quality and safety.
Start part-time schedules and to grow into a full-time position as a Senior Product Specialist.
Requirements
Must be reliable and have reliable transportation
Must have excellent time-management skills
Proficiency in English and Spanish is desirable
Training Period: First 90 days
