An advanced creative development program focused on building technical skill, artistic thinking, and personal expression during a key identity-forming stage.
This class encourages students to move beyond simple projects into intentional, concept-driven artwork.
Developmental Focus:
- Foundational perspective, proportion, and composition skills
- Visual storytelling and narrative development
- Emotional expression through symbolism and imagery
- Introduction to critique and peer feedback
- Development of personal artistic style
Class Experience:
Students engage in guided skill instruction followed by independent project development. Reflection and structured critique are included to strengthen creative thinking and communication.
Outcomes:
Students begin to think and create like developing artists, demonstrating increased creative independence, self-awareness, and technical ability.
